This information notice has been prepared by Kaymakçılar Casting and Industry Joint Stock Company (“KAYMAKÇILAR”), as the data controller whose details are provided below, in accordance with Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”), for individuals whose images are recorded by our camera systems.

Purpose of Processing Personal Data

In our iron casting and metal processing facility where automotive components are produced, image and/or sound recordings are taken via security cameras for the following purposes:

Ensuring Physical Security: To ensure the safety of company buildings and facilities and to control unauthorized entries and exits.
Protecting Company Operations and Assets: To safeguard company property in production areas, warehouses, offices, and other units, and to prevent and detect incidents such as theft or sabotage.
Fulfilling Occupational Health and Safety Obligations: To ensure the health and safety of employees, prevent workplace accidents, and assist in clarifying incidents if they occur.
Preventing Crimes and Supporting Investigations: To deter potential criminal acts, assist in the clarification of incidents, and cooperate with judicial authorities when necessary.
Creating and Monitoring Visitor Records: To monitor and record visitor entry and exit movements.

Categories of Processed Personal Data

Through the camera recording system, your visual data (images) are processed. Audio data (voice recordings) are not processed.

Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data collected through the camera system may be transferred to authorized public institutions and organizations (such as the General Directorate of Security, public prosecutors, or courts) and to judicial authorities when required, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, and for the purposes specified above.

Method and Legal Basis of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data are obtained automatically through security cameras.

These processing activities are based on the following legal grounds set forth in Article 5/2 of the Law:

Where processing is necessary for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligations: Particularly for fulfilling our obligations arising from occupational health and safety legislation.
Where processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject: For ensuring the security of our company and employees, protecting company assets, and preventing and detecting crimes.
Where processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right: For providing evidence in legal processes and protecting or exercising our legal rights.

You may submit your requests under Article 11 of the Law, which regulates the “rights of the data subject,” to KAYMAKÇILAR in accordance with the “Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures for the Request to the Data Controller” (Official Gazette: 10.03.2018/30356), by filling out the “Personal Data Owner Application Form” available at www.kaymakcilar.com.tr and sending it via e-mail, postal mail, or by hand delivery.
